Flipkart seems to have lost the plot. With the launch of the highly anticipated Moto G, Flipkart seems to have put its reputation at stake.
Flipkart started taking orders for the Moto G on 06 Feb 2014 at 12 Midnight and ran out of stock within 15 minutes. Disappointed customers started spamming their Comments as the launch was highly hyped up. Flipkart promised to restock and start taking orders from 12 Noon the same day. People who ordered the phone when Flipkart started taking orders again were disappointed to get a mail saying that due to some reasons the phone will be delivered in 10 days( WTF !!). Here's a copy of the mail sent out by Flipkart to its 'esteemed' and 'loyal' customers -
This message should be flashing when I make the order and not when I've made it (duh).
Although the Moto G is an absolute kill for just Rs 13,999 but Flipkart should surely pull up its socks in order to cater to the huge demand for the phone.
